In May this blog has reported about the social networking project Diaspora. The idea of the project is a social networking application realized by a desktop software and a decentralized network, where users are the administrators and owner of there own data (s.a. A decentral Social Network). Now a first version of the social networking software has been published, which is dedicated to developers and project participants for the further development and to cooperate on this project. Diaspora has been started as a crowd funding project on the platform Kickstarter. At the former homepage of the project Decentralize the web with Diaspora it is indicated, that the needed amount to start the project has been achieved.
