The W3C has published a website security standard aimed to enable users to make relevant decisions while visiting and using a website or online service. The standard is a result of the Web Security Context Working Group, a subgroup of the general W3C Security activities, and includes guidelines to inform users about applications running within a website and to enable users to take relevant decisions regarding the secure use of a website. The W3C recommendation of the Web Security Context Working Group is available by the following link.
